AI Platform Diagnostic
Find out exactly what stands between your pilots and production.
Two weeks. Fixed price. Your platform scored against the nine capabilities that separate a demo from a production system — and a ranked plan naming who owns closing each gap.
Who this is for
Leaders who recognize one of these
We have working pilots, but no platform strategy to scale them.
We're running agents in production but can't tell when they're quietly failing.
We're getting bills for AI tool-use but can't tell what's driving cost or value.
Typically a CTO, VP of Engineering, or Head of Data at an organization with 200+ engineers, one to three AI systems in or near production, and a board asking when the investment pays off.
What you get
Four deliverables, all yours to keep
Scored against the same nine capabilities set out in full on the platform control reference, so you can see the method before you buy it.
A scored assessment
Every control across all nine capabilities marked built, assigned, or unowned. The third category is where the risk lives, and it is usually the largest.
The five gaps that matter
Ranked by operational risk against cost-to-close, so the next quarter of platform investment goes to the right gap rather than the loudest one.
A 90-day remediation plan
Sequenced, with named owners and engineer-week estimates, written so it can go to your leadership team as-is.
A one-hour readout
To you and whoever you want in the room — including the part where I tell you which of your current initiatives I would stop.
How it runs
Ten working days
Your team spends roughly one hour each, plus two hours of yours. That is the entire ask.
Price
Fixed. Half on signature, half on delivery. No hourly billing, no scope changes, no expenses. If you continue into a fractional engagement afterwards, the fee is credited in full.
Guarantee
If the readout does not surface at least three material gaps your team had not already prioritized, there is no invoice. You keep the assessment either way.
Scope
What this is not
- Not a strategy deck. A deck recommends; this scores every control as built, assigned, or unowned, which is a finding you can argue with.
- Not a vendor evaluation, and not a proof of concept. Nobody writes code.
- Not open-ended. It ends on day ten whether or not you hire me for anything else.
Most organizations take the 90-day plan and run it with their own team. That is the intended outcome, and the plan is written to be executed without me. Where the gap turns out to be leadership rather than capacity, that is what a fractional engagement is for.
